Bowman's Oak Hill Bed and Breakfast, "Where comfort comes with your key" is the most recent B & B in the Wisconsin Dells area. A smoke free retreat only minutes from all of the Dells area attractions. Fifteen minutes to downhill skiing. The snowmobile trails are near by. We also offer a wonderful setting for small church staff or family retreats as well as weddings on the grounds or arrangements can be made for a country church built in 1875. Having opened in August of 2003 we have been delighted with the wonderful guests we have had in our home.

This 60's ranch style estate is located on a peaceful hill, very close to the center of the downtown Wisconsin Dells River District. The home is light and spacious in a park like setting, nestled behind the beautiful trees, safely hidden from the road. It is surrounded by 12 acres of lawns, gardens, woods, and farm. You may see a variety of wildlife at various times of the day.

Domestic pets live in the host quarters. Bird feeders and houses attract many types of colorful birds to the yard. The sun porch is a great place to catch a close view of them. Come and enjoy a game of croquette, horseshoes, Walking in the woods or just peacefully sitting on the covered swing watching the sunrise or set.

The Bowman's grow a rather large organic vegetable garden in the summer and fall. Some of the produce from it is used in the preparation of the scrumptious, full breakfast they serve. You will awake to the smell of fresh ground coffee and other delicious aroma's making their way under your door.

 

The house specialties are fresh fruit smoothy's and parfait's, gourmet pancakes with Nancy's famous secret sauce or one of her "to die for" egg dishes. Biscuits, muffins or breakfast bundts are also a part of our menu's. An example of the afternoon or evening snack would be hot or iced tea and cocoa with popcorn, cookies or scones.
