Award Winning Wild Rice Cran-Apple Bake!

Nancy of Bowman's Oak B & B won the 2009 Wisconsin Bed & Breakfast Association’s statewide recipe cook-off for her Wild Rice Cran-Apple Breakfast Bake. The judges, who included two Culinary Institute of America-trained chefs, plus a food journalist and author, praised the winning dish for its contrast of "hearty" with "sweet" and its "tremendous mix of robust flavors with creative extras.
